@geckled I’m not a search engine expert, but I also use DuckDuckGo’s search engine because of its level of privacy. In that regard it is definitely a better choice than ultra-commercial engines like Google, Bing and Yahoo.
I also make use of DDG’s bang operators a lot, for direct searches in all kinds of sites.
